Innovation Scouting

Along with the partner universities of the South Lower Saxony Innovation Campus (SNIC), the TU Clausthal has developed innovation scouting to strengthen cooperation between science and regional industry.

The innovation scouts are researching research topics and competencies with potential for application at the universities. In coordination with the responsible scientists, these are presented in understandable terms and published via the communication channels of the SNIC as well as throughout Lower Saxony on the platform www.wissenhochn.de. Like this innovation scouting opens up new ways of potential cooperation partners in industry and society for you as a scientist.

In the SNIC the innovation scouts work together closely with the technology consultants of the regional economic development agencies. They are in direct contact with the companies of the region and determine their needs. In the interdisciplinary SNIC team, potentials and needs are linked and developed into new cooperations.

• the transfer of knowledge from research into economy and society,
• the establishment of contacts to regional enterprises,
• the establishment of contacts to regional scientific partners outside your own scientific community,
• the development of R&D projects together with regional partners from industry and science.
